Ms. Saras Bhaskar has several years of Psychological Counseling and HR Management experience. Since her move back from US to India in 2002, she has combined her Counseling and Corporate experience to run her private practice successfully. Her belief is that every human being has the potential to succeed and her mission is to empower people to discover / rediscover their full potential, objectively guide clients, and assist them to incorporate the skills successfully in their daily walks of life. Her ability to work with the strengths of individuals combined with her strong foundation in Applied Psychology and Counseling has given her wide recognition in the field.

As a Counseling Psychologist, she has mastered in identifying psychopathology and offering necessary therapeutic guidance to clients and their families. As a private practitioner, she offers individual, family, pre-marriage and marriage counseling, handling clients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disturbances. Her vast experience in dealing with adolescents has made her one of the most sought-after psychologist in strengthening parent–child relationship. She incorporates many successful therapeutic techniques in her treatment modality.

She is well-recognized as a Corporate Consultant and her experience in design and implementation of proactive solution-based curriculums is multifold. As an objective problem solver, she is an expert in identifying organizational needs to design and develop customized solution-based programs. With her specialization in HR Management, she has the ability to empower all levels of personnel throughout the organization.

Ms. Bhaskar periodically facilitates need-based workshops and training programs for MNCs, private companies, NGOs, and Educational Institutions. She is an affiliate with the PPC a Worldwide that offers EAP to their clients by recruiting counseling professionals. Since 2009, she has been hired by Shepell.fgi, a Canadian-based company as an affiliate to extend expatriate employee assistance program to their clients. She appears on local television channels, and her interviews and expert comments appear frequently in The Times of India, The Deccan Chronicle, The Hindu and other Tamil newspapers and magazines.

Her vision to empower counseling professionals in the field of psychology gave birth to Chennai Counselors Foundation. Started in 2004, CCF provides a platform for counseling professionals to share knowledge, expertise, provide cross-referrals and train for growth and advancement. Saras Bhaskar offers multicultural counseling to foreigners in India for business or other purposes.
